Daniel Tamagi, ‘The FloWarrior,’ to Bring Inspiring Performance to Coteau Hills Elementary

Students at Coteau Hills Elementary School in Moose Jaw are in for an extraordinary experience on September 29, 2026, as multidisciplinary performance artist and motivational speaker Daniel Tamagi—known as The FloWarrior—brings his acclaimed presentation, “How to Unlock Your Superpowers,” to the school.

The local show is part of a 21-school provincial tour organized by the Organization of Saskatchewan Arts Councils (OSAC) running from September 21 to October 8, 2026, designed for audiences from kindergarten through Grade 12.

Hailing from Alberta, Daniel Tamagi brings a unique blend of academic and artistic credentials to the stage. Holding a Master’s degree in Medical Physics alongside more than a decade of experience as a professional performance artist, Tamagi seamlessly bridges science, physical artistry, and creative expression. Exploring his cultural heritage as a Japanese Canadian, he has pioneered his own distinct brand of “martial artistry,” blending elements of dance, martial arts, and music to inspire young audiences.

Tamagi’s personal mission is rooted in the belief that art possesses the power to transform lives for the better. Drawing from his own journey, he aims to guide students toward discovering their unique “Path of Purpose” in an ever-changing world.

The presentation, “How to Unlock Your Superpowers,” has already reached over 11,000 students. Centered on core themes of skill development, intuition, creativity, and a growth mindset, the show helps children identify and cultivate their individual strengths.

A diverse array of physical routines will capture students’ respect as Tamagi maintains high engagement throughout, incorporating elements of popular culture such as lightsabers, anime, video games, and cosplay to allow the show to resonate deeply with youth.  Every performance element connects directly to lessons on critical thinking, creative expression, and self-confidence.  There is an interactive component to the presentation bringing students and teachers to participate together on stage, fostering a shared sense of community.

This performance is made possible through OSAC’s Performing Arts in Schools touring program, which delivers high-caliber artistic performances and curriculum-connected workshops to urban, rural, and reserve schools across Saskatchewan. Supported by a network of community volunteers, OSAC’s programming is funded through the Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust for Sport, Culture and Recreation and Canadian Heritage
